WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels revealed his thoughts on his most underrated feuds, pinpointing his rivalry with fellow legend Mick Foley as one of the most overlooked in his career.

In an interview with “The Schmo,” when asked about his most underrated feud, Shawn Michaels expressed:

I don’t know if they were fused with the two matches that I’m pretty proud of, but (one of my most underrated feuds) was the one with Mankind. Mick and I had a hell of a match at Mind Games, but it was just a one-shot deal.

Michaels highlighted the match at WWE In Your House Mind Games in 1996 as a standout moment in his career, emphasising the potential for a more extensive storyline between him and Foley, known then as Mankind. Reflecting on the match, Michaels conveyed his pride in the performance and lamented the missed opportunity for a more substantial narrative, stating:

And it’s one of those things that I always feel like had Mick and I had a better opportunity to have a much bigger storyline, we could have really done some fantastic things.

Despite Michaels believing his match with Mankind at Mind Games to have been underrated it was received very positively by wrestling fans and critics alike with the match garnering four and three-quarter stars from Dave Meltzer.
