Penn State football defensive end Zuriah Fisher will be out indefinitely with an injury he picked up during spring practice, according to Sean Fitz of On3.
Fisher, a redshirt season, has appeared in 24 games with the Nittany Lions, including 13 in 2023. He’s registered 22 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
Fisher was expected to get second-team reps at defensive end in the 2024 season, sitting behind Dani Dennis-Sutton and Abdul Carter. Penn State’s defensive end group is also expecting increased production from Jamaiel Lyons and Amin Vanover.
Fisher, who stands at 6’3″ and 254 pounds, was previously injured for the 2022 season and made just two appearances during the campaign.
